How to activate

To activate a key purchased from Keysouq, the specific steps depend on the type of product you bought and the platform it uses for activation. 

Generally, the process involves two main steps:

  1. Locate your product key from the purchase confirmation email or your Keysouq account's "Orders" page.
  2. Enter the key into the relevant software or platform (Microsoft Store, the specific game's launcher, etc.) to complete the activation. 

Here are common activation scenarios:

For Microsoft Windows

  1. Open the Start menu and go to Settings > Update & Security > Activation (or for Windows11: Settings > System > Activation).
  2. Select Change product key.
  3. Enter the 25-character product key you received from Keysouq and follow the on-screen instructions. 

For PC Games (e.g., on Steam, Origin, Epic Games, GOG, etc.)Each platform has its own redemption process:

  • Steam: Open the Steam client, go to the top menu and select Games > Activate a Product on Steam..., then follow the instructions.
  • Origin/EA App: Open the client, go to My Game Library, click Add a Game, and then select Redeem Product Code.
  • Epic Games Launcher: Click on your account name in the bottom-left corner and select Redeem Code from the menu.
  • Ubisoft Connect: Open the client, select the three lines icon in the top left, choose Activate a key, and enter your code.
  • GOG Galaxy: Launch the client, click the + Add games & friends button, select Redeem code, and enter your key. 

General Troubleshooting:

  • Check for typos: Carefully enter the code, paying attention to capitalization and distinguishing between similar characters (e.g., O and 0).
  • Ensure the correct platform: Make sure you are trying to activate the key on the correct platform or within the correct software for which it was intended.
  • Contact support:If you continue to have issues, contact Keysouq's customer support or the software manufacturer's support for further assistance.
