With Stars in Shadow: Legacies DLC, discover a new chapter in the galaxy's history and command the powerful cyborg Tinkers, a new playable faction devoted to an ancient mega-machine known as Dzibix. Explore new technologies, encounter mysterious factions and uncover secrets connected to the events of the Great War.

The Tinkers worship Dzibix as a machine god. Originally an automated factory created by an ancient Golden Age civilisation, this enormous machine has gradually expanded across their arid homeworld and developed a degree of self-awareness. To honour their mechanical deity, the Tinkers have transformed themselves into cyborgs and built an advanced cybernetic society.

Their spacecraft feature enhanced armour, self-repair capabilities and specialised systems designed to counter missiles and fighters. Alongside the Tinkers, the mysterious hyperspace-dwelling Arda Seed introduces new encounters, ships and stations that further expand the mysteries of the galaxy.
